The Island Creek Community is part of the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council (GSSJC) and is located in the heart of Katy, Texas! Our amazing community is made up of registered Girl Scouts and Adult Volunteers, such as our Community Leadership Team, Troop Leaders, Parents and Council support!

Girl Scouting creates opportunities for girls to try new things, challenge themselves, make friends and explore the world around them. Because we are Girl-Led, girls are encouraged to ask questions, think creatively and offer ideas!

Connect
As girls discover new things about themselves and others, they become more connected within their troop and are able to learn and work cooperatively to solve problems and have fun! Troop Leaders facilitate an environment where girls feel empowered and supported to accomplish their dreams!
Take Action
Making the world a better place is at the very heart of Girl Scouting. This may involve service to her troop, her scouting community, her neighborhood or the world! In any case, girls are learning by doing and creating lifelong friendships and memories at the same time!
